Work Out From Home:

New year, new challenges… looking back on what was a difficult year, here at Life Style Sports we are taking a moment to check in with ourselves. We got through it, we adapted, and we launched our Work’in from home series and reinforced our belief in the benefits of exercise during the tough times.

So, with the new year we want to encourage our LSS community to set themselves a personal challenge and help them smash it with motivating and inspiring coaches. We’ve rounded up the best team to help bring this to life across the next 4 weeks and to inspire our community to Work Out From Home.

Meet The Team:

Conor Mc Donald  @conmcd1 – Wexford Senior Hurler and fitness fanatic, Conor has had to develop his own routine while training at home away from his club and inter-county teammates. Keep an eye on his challenge as he works towards keeping a balance of home workouts and getting to 5km confidently.

Daniel O’Farrell – @danofazz – Ultra Marathon Runner and keen photographer, Dan loves to explore his surroundings. So whether that’s clocking up the miles out on the road or taking on the Trail…You can follow Dan as he provides all the tips to go further and takes on the challenge of pushing past your 10km.

Matthew Behan   @mattbehan  An Irish International Athlete over Hurdles, Matty has won National championships in the 400m Hurdles and 60m Hurdles category. Follow him as he takes on the challenge of incorporating rest and recovery into his training schedule and takes us through the importance of both while you Work Out From Home.

Niamh Cullen – @niamhcullenx – Our girl Niamh Cullen will be a familiar face to most of our Life Style Sports family. Not only is Niamh a qualified personal trainer, she is also the queen of all things fashion, lifestyle, wellness and positivity!

Niamh will be taking on two challenges over the next five weeks. Her first challenge involves challenging her inner yogi by aiming to perfect her front split. Her second challenge will involve training for a half marathon.

Both challenges are by no means going to be easy, but with Niamh’s passion and determination, we know she’ll get there. We cannot wait to be there supporting her every step of the way and we want you to do the same!

Emma Kehoe – @emmakehoe – Next up is the lovely Emma Kehoe. Emma, who will also be a familiar face to our Life Style Sports community from our Women’s Studio campaign last year, is taking on a very relatable challenge. One I’m sure we all tell ourselves we need to do each week… workout!

With Emma’s expertise as a qualified life coach, she will aim to complete three workouts a week as well as sharing some motivational tips, introduce us to journaling and teach us how to look after ourselves better, especially during these tough times.

We can guarantee you by the end of the challenge Emma will feel like one of your BFF’s!

Amy O’Donoghue – @amyod94 – Our next coach, an athlete, and a star on and off the track, the fabulous Amy O’Donoghue. We knew we had to have a professional athlete as part of the team and no better woman than Amy.

Amy is the perfect coach for all you runners out there. With her expertise in the sport, she will be providing some top running tips that all us runners need to hear.

Amy’s main aims are to get her followers to keep active, improve their overall well-being and create a new habit. Amy not only wants to get people out running, but to enjoy running consistently.

She will be providing training plans, checklists and playlists that will keep you motivated and in touch with the challenge.

Be prepared to smash your challenges with having Amy as your coach.

Ellie Lartey – @thechunky_blonde – Ellie Lartey, our coach that speaks out about all things self-love and mental health. We are so excited for what Ellie has in store. A challenge that again, we all try to do every day but lately, we have all been guilty of neglecting.

Ellie will be taking on the challenge of walking 40,000 steps a week! That’s just over 5,000 steps every day!

With her warm and inspiring personality, Ellie will be there to encourage you every step of the way and will be doing it in style.

Her love for fashion will make getting out for those steps easy as she will be showing you all the latest styles Life Style Sports Women’s Plus Size range has to offer along the way.

Be sure to follow our coaches Instagram accounts and our own at: @lifestylesports and @lifestylesportswomen

 Now go smash it!
