The FAI has announced the new Ireland Home kit. Created by the new official kit supplier Castore, the new kit takes inspiration from the mid-eighties to channel the retro style of Irish football.
About the new FAI kit
Paying homage to the 1985-86 season, the new Team Ireland kit from the FAI celebrates the Irish Legend Paul McGrath in his debut at Dalymount Park.
The retro-inspired jersey is detailed with green, white and orange stripes across the body and at the trims, reminiscent of the mid-eighties kit. On the chest, the archival shamrock badge returns to the newly revealed FAI logo. On the back of the neck, the Éire emblem, which first appeared in 1924 at the 1924 olymic games in Paris celebrates the FAI’s longstanding heritage.
