Spain are bidding to win a third consecutive European Championship this summer, but however they fare on the pitch, midfielder Cesc Fabregas is sure to light up France.
The Chelsea playmaker will be sporting Puma’s newest design – striking Pink Glo and Safety Yellow evoPOWER and evoSPEED Trick boots.
Working with a CMYK colour palette, the latest boots feature a signature two-colour approach. The left vamp is Pink Glo and the right Safety yellow, connecting to the black heel with a geometric pattern.
The evoPOWER 1.3 boot keeps the principles of barefoot kicking at its core, with increased flexibility resulting in more kicking power. The evoSPEED is light and responsive, to improve speed and manoeuvrability.
Fabregas said: “Puma have done it again and set the style this summer with their signature bold two-colour boots.
“I’m really proud to be representing Spain in the Euros this summer, and looking forward to standing out in these boots through the tournament. There are exciting weeks ahead.”
Puma’s two-coloured boot concept is inspired by former Cameroon defender Rigobert Song who, at the 1998 World Cup in France, decided to lace up two different coloured Puma King boots – his right was yellow, his left red.
Sergio Aguero, Marco Reus, Marco Verratti and Olivier Giroud are among the other star names set to lace the Trick boots.
And Manchester City striker Aguero said: “The Tricks boots match my style of play perfectly.
“Everyone went crazy for Tricks at the World Cup two years ago and Puma has outdone itself by bringing these boots back to the pitch with the bold pink and yellow colours.
“I love the evoSPEED boots I am wearing at the moment – they are so lightweight you can hardly feel them on your feet but still provide a lot of support.”
