Under cover of darkness, Life Style Sports, official retail partner to Leinster Rugby, transformed Dublin’s most iconic statues in a never seen before show of support for Leinster and a celebration of its diverse and passionate supporter base. Over the course of one night, bespoke 3D body mapping and live light projection technology brought the city’s most loved statues to life as glowing champions for the province.

Dublin royalty Phil Lynott was pictured standing side by side with Leinster royalty Ian Madigan, Mike McCarthy and Jack Conan. Honouring those who now call Dublin and Leinster home, James Larkin and Daniel O’Connell stood united in a radiant display of support with Dublin’s most iconic author James Joyce illuminated late into the night.

Commenting Debbie Byrne, Marketing Director Life Style Sports, said:

“Leinster supporters come from all over the 12 counties and from all walks of life. Our transformation of Dublin’s most iconic statues is a rallying cry for the entire province to change their colours and wear blue in a show of support for the team in their bid for the Pro12 title.”
